Pavol Veselý
Dr Veselý specialises in corneal surgery, in particular the treatment of Keratoconus. He is the co-author of a unique surgical procedure in the treatment of keratoconus.
Since 2011, he has been working at VESELY The Eye Clinic specialising in cataract surgery, refractive microsurgery and laser eye surgery. He is the author and co-author of several professional lectures and publications. Prior to this he was at the Eye Clinic of the third medical faculty, Charles University Prague, Czech Republic, Department of ophthalmology, Žilina Faculty Hospital, Slovakia and Centrum Mikrochirurgie Oka, Bratislava, Slovakia.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, SLK, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Czech Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery and the Czech Vitreoretinal Society. He won the award for the best professional publication of the journal Oftalmochirurgie in 2006. He introduced many previously unperformed surgical procedures in the field of corneal and myopia surgery in Slovakia.
